SPECIAL RULES
Water:
1) Water is
designated by
stripes on
ground or flagging
tape.
2) Water can't
be crossed at
anytime except
by ship or
rowboat.
3) The bridge
between Paradise
Island and
Pigeon Island is
the only access
to/from Pigeon
Island that does
not require a
boat or ship.
Pirate Ships:
1) Must have at
least three
people to sail.
No maximum.
2)
Cannot be
fired on except
by other pirate
ship or specific
weapon UNLESS
ship is
deploying troops
in or out of
back door.
3) When loading
and unloading
players, back
door must be
touching land.
4) If all
sailors
occupying ship
are shot whilst
loading and
unloading, ship
can be taken by
opponent. All
other rules will
apply.
5) Must move
with shoot
windows closed
unless in
battle.
6) When
initially
engaging in
battle, all
shoot windows
are to be
opened.
7) One shoot
window is closed
per person hit.
Three or more
windows closed
disables ship
for that round.
Ship must return
to area of water
closest to base.
8) Ship can move
when engaged in
battle.
9) Damage to
ship incurred
while sailing, where
safety or
maneuverability
is a concern,
renders ship
unusable for
remainder of
game.
10) Intentional
damage,
manipulation, or
defacing of ship
by any opponent
will award all
ships to other
team plus an
award of 50
points.
Row boats:
1) Must have at
least two people
to row.
2) Eight players
maximum on
rowboat at any
time.
3) One hand per
player must be
touching rowboat
while in
transit.
4) Any player
letting go while
on waterway
drowns and must
go to hospital
to regenerate.
5) Players may
shoot while in
rowboat.
6) Players may
be shot at while
in rowboat.
7) Rowboat must
be touching land
and water while
boarding and
disembarking.
8) Rowboat(s)
can't be used as
a bridge. It
must leave the
shore it was
boarded.
9) Rowboats
can't be moved
inland. They
must be touching
water at all
times.
Captain's
Chests:
Each captain
will have an ice
chest with team
color that is
off limits to
all players.
Treasure:
1)
SAFETY:
Shovel points
are to be
covered except
while digging.
2)
SAFETY:
All holes to be
covered before
leaving area.
Dead players may
cover holes.
3) Possession
remains to
player who grabs
treasure without
being hit. Same
player still
retains
possession if
hit after grab.
Determination
of winner:
1) Pirate coins
= 5 points
each
2) Gold Bullion
= 5 points each
3) Blackbeard's
knife = 10
points
4) Final Battle
= 50 points
5) Miscellaneous
special items:
Value varies.
5) Treasure
collected will
be weighed.
Heaviest
treasure at end
of game = 30
points.
These rules are
not final.
Changes may be
made up until
game time.
