In a response to the changes in the paintball industry, and to increase fair
and safe play, we have decided to cap all electronic paintball guns to a rate
of fire limit of
13.3 Balls Per Second.
Semi-Auto is still the only mode allowed for recreational play. This
decision has been a long time in coming, as the complaints against faster
shooting guns have increased and newer players are becoming more intimidated
by the advancing technology of today’s paintball guns.

Hired Gunz scenario team adopts Paintball Command as its home field.

7/28/2005: Paintball Command completes installation of new netting on one of the speedball fields. Also, a building is now in place between the fields that will provide services in the near future.
6/20/2005: Paintball Command staff, teams, and players along with other players in the area are cast as extras in movie "Failure to Launch". It is directed by Tom Dey and stars Justin Bartha, Bradley Cooper, Zooey Deschanel, Matthew McConaughey, and Sarah Jessica Parker.
11/04: Paintball Command prohibits the use of chips/boards that will ramp velocities beyond safe limits. All other chips/boards must be set in semi-automatic mode, one shot per trigger pull with release (no more than one paintball is discharged during each shooting cycle). Paintball Command is committed to safe, competitive, and fair paintball.
